Description

Fall Out is a fun, hands-on challenge that combines creativity with basic aerospace concepts. Participants will be given foam boxes that must be stacked after being dropped from a height. To ensure the boxes land safely, teams will design and build a parachute using only the materials provided. The goal is to slow the fall, maintain stability, and successfully stack the boxes without damage. This event encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and innovative thinking while introducing students to real-world ideas of aerodynamics and gravity in an engaging and accessible way. No prior technical experience is required—just curiosity and creativity.
