Description

Ishq-e-Paheli is a poetic guessing game that blends romance, riddles, and imagination. Inspired by an old word game, participants describe an ordinary object as if it were a beloved, using romantic or mysterious language. The twist is that the “lover” is not a person, but a simple object from everyday student life. One participant takes on the role of the court poet, reciting verses filled with metaphor and emotion, while others listen closely and try to uncover the hidden identity. Set in the atmosphere of an ancient royal court, a scribe records select verses in elegant calligraphy as keepsakes. The audience guesses along, with correct answers earning small prizes and bragging rights.
